Andrew Rotjan, DNP
President

Andrew and his family joined the Merrick Jewish Centre in 2014, quickly becoming integral members of the MJC community. Initially contributing as a member of the Health and Safety Committee, Andrew's dedication and leadership led to his service on the Board of Directors from 2019 to 2022 and his role as an Executive Board Vice President from 2023 to 2024.

Andrew is committed to the future of the Merrick Jewish Centre, leading with a strategic vision grounded in Jewish values, inclusivity, transparency, and authenticity. He is eager to continue guiding and nurturing our community for generations to come.

Professionally, Andrew is a doctorally educated and trained nurse practitioner and currently works as a corporate leader for Northwell Health. He is also an Assistant Professor at the Hofstra-Northwell School of Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies.
