Howard Tiegel, President

Howard has served as president of the Merrick Jewish Centre twice, from 2013-2015, and again since July 2020. Focusing on continuing to build an energized, strong, and forward-looking model of synagogue affiliation that resonates with each generation of congregants, he brings a strong vision and direction to our Board of Directors and congregational community as a whole. 

Professionally, Howard is a human resources executive and employment lawyer. He and his wife, Paula, and their daughter, Brianna, have been MJC members since 2004.
