Donna Bartolomeo, Executive Director

Donna joined the Merrick Jewish Centre family in January 2022 with over 27 years of administrative experience.  Her synagogue involvement includes serving as the office administrator of Bay Terrace Jewish Center (2002-2006) followed by filling the role of Executive Director of Temple Beth Sholom of Roslyn (2006-2021). She is the mother of four and the very proud grandmother of six grandchildren.

Donna’s responsibilities include the overall supervision of the day-to-day operations of our synagogue building, including maintenance, security, and staff. She manages the MJC office, coordinates the synagogue calendar and events, plays a significant role in membership retention, and facilitates the efforts of our clergy, professional staff, and lay leaders. In addition, she is involved in budgeting and grant writing.

Donna enjoys interacting with the members of MJC at synagogue services and hopes they will stop by the office to discuss any issues they may have.
